Tech Tip: Twitter Follow

I chose to follow a few people on twitter. I followed Laura Gibbs regular account and her online mythindia account. She post things that the people I normally follow on twitter wouldnt post so I get to see lots of different things. I have also followed a lot of accounts that have to do with OU sports and academics, because I can find a lot of useful information on these twitter accounts.

Tech Tip: Weather Widget

I have added a weather widget to my profile. I had always seen them on others blogs, and wanted to do it to mine. It also didnt hurt that it was extra credit too. My favorite weather is either the spring time right before summer, or fall right before winter. My least favorite weather has to be the cold because it might seem great at first, but then it just sucks because it makes my whole body cold.

Tech Tip: Blog Profile

I chose to show my about me in my blog, but I only have my name and a picture. Also I added my name to my blog post. I have never really thought about my online identity because no one is ever going to look me up unless it is a potential employer, and I think this class will just show some of my class work. Recently I have deleted my old Facebook and tried to keep my new one cleaned up for the fact potential employers will be looking at it. Not saying I had anything horrible, but I did post stuff when I was in high school that probably wasn't for the internet. My online identity won't be very big in the years to come just because I do not do much online.

Week 12 Tech Tip

I have been on twitter for a few years now. I mostly use it to keep up with sports news and regular news. It is a great way to get all different kinds of information from all kinds of people all in one place. When this class started in August I added the twitter account for it and have been following it ever since. When I see things pop up on my feed I click on them. Most everything on there is very interesting. I definitely do I a lot more reading tweets, rather than posting them!

Tech Tip: Pinterest Board

I have used pinterest for awhile now, and I just now created a board for this class. What I normally use pinterest for is cooking. I love finding new recipes because I love learning to cook new meals. Also I use it for decorating and artsy type things. I plan on using it for the remainder of the semester for this class.
