This storybook caught my attention because I have heard the phrase the beautiful truth before. It is about being beautiful and how other people see, and it may not be how you truly are. The introduction interested me because it made me want to know about the person who was talking. The layout of the page didn't really grab my attention it was just plain and didn't scream beauty. It is easy to find my way around the page, each story is labeled clearly. There could have been more pictures, I like pictures cause they tell a visual story.
Adventures in Wonderland
The topic of this storybook is something I am familiar with, and enjoy very much. Alice In Wonderland is a story I am familiar with, and I love it. I think this title does a good job because it talks about wonderland, and each characters individual adventures with the "human" Alice. The intro really interested me because it gave a good insight of what the stories are ultimately going to be about. The design of the page is set up good, easy access to all the stories. The pictures were good but a few did not work right, and one said it wasn't linked right.
Which is the Real Cinderella?
I am familiar with the story of Cinderella which is ultimately why I chose this storybook. The title is pretty straight forward, there is more than one girl that could be Cinderella so which one is it? The different quotes in the introduction gives a good story line of how the stories are going to go, which made it more interesting to me. I like the design of the page, the sparkles in the back ground really make me think of Cinderella. The pictures used caught my eye they showed where Cinderella truly comes from.
