A Few Of My Favorite Places

One of my absolute favorite places to be is at Owen Stadium in the fall with 85,000 fans screaming for one reason: Oklahoma Football! My family has had season tickets for as long as I can remember. There is no other feeling like it, it is an adrenaline rush like no other. Every year I look forward to the fall, because fall means football and I love football!

Anywhere my family is, is where I want to be. Anytime I am with my family we are always having a good time. Family means everything to me, and they are the people who made me who I am today. I am a pretty simple person and being with my family makes me the happiest.

And last but not least my current favorite place to be in in Virginia with my boyfriend. He is in the Air Force and is stationed in Hampton, VA at Langley. I have been living here with him for a couple of months now and I love it. Being away from home has taught me a lot about myself. I love Virginia Beach, the boardwalk is awesome it is like nothing I have ever seen before.

I have been able to travel to many different places, but these 3 simple places are by far my favorite. They are apart of who I am and what I love to do. Traveling the world is what I love to do, and I will always cherish the moments and places I have been, but nothing will ever compare to these 3 places.

  1. What a great stadium picture, Baylee! There is always good energy in this class for fall because of all the football excitement, and sometimes people do football-themed storytelling posts, with Bob Stoops as the hero and Bevo as some kind of monster that the hero is battling, or something like that — heroes, villains, monsters, all that good stuff. Maybe you can use the stadium as a setting for a story you write this semester. :-)

And how great that you got to be with your boyfriend...and to spend time at Virginia Beach. I'm living in North Carolina which is not really all that far away, although I have not actually been to Virginia Beach. We like to go to a place called Topsail... which is a popular destination although it is never quite as crowded as that Virginia Beach picture you shared here! It must be hard to be back in land-locked Norman now with your boyfriend far away... I hope the semester will provide you with some good distractions while you are counting the days to go back there!
